Tips from Alt Summit 2013
We’re not at Alt Summit this year, but we’re keeping a close eye on the #altsummit Twitter feed, taking notes from key players in the design and lifestyle blogging space. A special thanks goes to Lisa Butler from Elembee, who was kind enough to share these tweets on her feed. You rock, Lisa!

Our top blogs to watch - round one.
We read a lot of blogs in our day to day. We read blogs that have been around for years, and then every once in a while we stumble across an awesome blogger, quietly crafting beautiful posts in their little corner of the internet.
So today, inspired by our friends at Altitude Design Summit we’ve decided to put together a list of a few of our favs.
Drum roll please……..
The Artful Desperado - One my absolute favorite sites on the internet, mostly because of the ESL slipups and awesome ramblings about urinals, cheap beer and cupcakes.
Pencil Shavings Studio - An assault of color and amazing finds from Graphic Designer Rachel Singleton. Plus she sells beautiful cases for your iPhone/iPad. Definitely check her out.
I Like Nice Things - Fresh off a redesign, Alyssa has some killer style, awesome photography and beautiful layouts that she does all by herself. Plus she started WLWL Magazine which is growing like a weed.
Element 75 - I’m probably late to this party but I just found this blog written by self proclaimed “art + design obsessed” Caroline Williamson. And this is my favorite thing I’ve seen in a long time.
That’s it for round one.
So if you or a friend have a great blog you’d like to share with us, please leave it in the comments or send it over to paul [at] skyscrpr [dot] com.
High fives!
